The Every Day Beanie

This warm, yummy-soft, and itch-free beanie made from silky Merino wool will be your hat to keep the chill away every day this fall! We will use a resist to layout and blend beautiful wool colors, incorporate prefelts or other embellishments for extra flare, and felt it to be super strong and durable—ready to last for years.
Choose your own style: create a snug, rolled-edge beanie to keep your ears cozy, or go for a relaxed, slouchy look. Get ready to roll up your sleeves--this is an active class with plenty of standing, rolling, and rubbing to ensure a long-lasting, high-quality felt.
Expect a fun, laughter-filled day full of creativity and encouragement. Come away with new felting skills and a beanie that's uniquely yours!
This workshop is perfect for folks who have previously taken a wet felting class.
What to Expect: This is a physically active class that involves standing for long periods and vigorous rolling using your hands, arms, and upper body.
What to Wear: It’s handy to wear an apron to catch the water drips and ¾ sleeves, sleeves you can roll up or sleeves you don’t mind getting wet. You’ll need comfy shoes.
What to Bring: Snacks or a lunch and a drink. There is a fridge and microwave available. We’ll have water, tea and cookies on hand for munching anytime.
